For sale is a vintage booklet describing the care of the cloth on a billiards table.
It was produced by Hunt and Winterbotham Ltd; They produced fine billiards cloth at Cam Mills, nr. Bristol.
It is in good condition with only a little age-related wear and tear – see photos. It has a small hole in its top left corner with a piece of string to hang it up. It likely hung in the offices of a snooker club, as a reminder for cloth care.
The front cover is stamped Murton, Newcastle. Murton’s was a Newcastle department store which closed in 1957. The booklet dates from that year or before.
It measures 11 x 14.5cm.Please feel free to ask any questions.
