We’ve enjoyed having this pool table in our house for many years but now the kids have grown up it’s not being used much so time has come to sell it. It’s 242 cm long (so that’s 8 feet, or to be exact 7 feet 11 1/4 inches) by 135 cm wide (which is 4 feet and 5 inches). It’s 78 cms high.
It’s an ex-pub style table, so is very sturdy and heavy with a proper slate bed table. Please note the base has been adapted to accommodate wheels so you can move it relatively easily on a smooth surface, and the wheels then lock in place to make the table solid.
The condition is usable, meaning that you can play pool on it, but it would benefit from a new baize covering – please see the pictures where I’ve tried to show some of the small nicks and stains. The balls would also benefit from a good clean.
It was originally the classic brown sided pub style table, but before we bought it was spray painted to the current cream colour you can see in the photos – there are marks to the sides which I’ve tried to show in the photos.
It has a proper working coin slot mechanism, which is currently set to freeplay. It includes the 2 keys which open the side panel.
The sale includes the pool table itself, plus the additional items you can see placed on the table in one of the pictures namely:
1. 3 cues, with usable tips
2. 2 bridge rests
3. Chalk, and a spare cue tip
4. Set of plain yellow/red pool balls including black, plus white cue ball (2 inch dia)
5. Some additional snooker type balls (2 inch dia – we used to combine these with the pool ball set to make up a snooker type set-up, but please note there are only 14 reds in total – we used the spotted black as a substitute 15th red)
6. Set of slightly larger diameter spots/stripes pool balls (2 1/4 inch dia)7. Triangle for standard pool set up using 15 of the 2 inch balls
8. Triangle for 9 ball pool using the 2 1/4 inch balls
9. Silver plastic pool table cover – please see pictures, it’s usable but is marked and has a tear approx. 26 cms long.
The table is a proper pub-style table so it is very heavy, so please make sure you have the means to collect it and move it before bidding.
