As a child, Chizu Takuma learned the art of macram from her mother. Chizu rediscovered her love for macram in her mid 20s and has been working as a fiber artist ever since. She is a lecturer at the Japan Macram Promotion Association and regularly holds macram workshops in Japan. Chizu enjoys making macram projects alongside her mother, sister, daughter, and son. She lives in Nara, Japan.
