This spacious garden shed features double doors for effortless access with larger items such as lawnmowers or bicycles as well as a six foot gable, providing you with plenty of height in the eaves for comfortable use and abundant wall space for hanging storage. Windows along one side will let the summer sunshine in and are filled with styrene safety glazing which is perfect for a family garden. Made from high-grade, slow grown European pine, this shed is constructed from materials which have been sustainably sourced and has been dip treated with a base coat so it’s all ready for painting at home. The natural honey brown of the wood will look lovely in any garden, with a design which is easy to assemble at home thanks to clear instructions.

Good value
For the money this is an excellent shed. Although the cladding is thin as expected, and the floor is thin, the frame is of good quality smooth planed timber. Everything except the ridge beam was treated. It was straightforward to assemble and the pieces fitted together well. Generous quantities of fixings were supplied and the instructions were relatively straightforward to follow although the writing and images were very small.
The door locking bolts were missing but Shire was very courteous and helpful and sent them in the post.
There were some small defects, but these were easily remedied. Some nails were not in the correct position and needed to be removed and then replaced. The hinges were not correctly aligned.
The doors are quite flimsy and the tongue and groove was a little warped but if needed the doors can be strengthened with some timber diagonals and an upright at the keep for example. The door hasp is flimsy and should be replaced with a padbolt to better secure the door. The hinges would benefit from domed coach bolts for security.
If you need this in a hurry, beware as it was over three weeks from order to delivery.

Value shed
Bought last Autumn, took 2 people a day to build but the felt was forgotten and delivered at a later date. Luckily it was dry that week. Good size for the cost but not sure it will last long. Was protected straight away but wood leaked sap from day one and now has split on most parts. Doors very flimsy and have started to come apart at the overlaps so now need reinforcing and refitting. Hinges are value and bend easily but can be replaced with stronger versions, the same goes for the clasp. A few nails in the wrong places but easily corrected.
Does the job of a basic shed if you are able to fix the faults,fill the holes and fiddle with the fixings.
