  • Good video but latter part more a crucible review.

Would have like to have seen more player reviews than crucible matches but for a video that includes Higgins 69 break and the Taylor v Davis 85 final for the price well worth buying

  • Ideal for Snooker fans

I bought this for an elderly gentleman with Dementia as he use to play snooker in his younger years. This dvd has triggered happy memories for him.

  • Watchable and entertaining.

Steve Davis presents the various stars in his own engaging style. One small drawback....we see the stars playing but very little of their opponents playing? Enjoyable DVD nontheless. Recommended. Mike Foster

  • Some great matches & extra features!!!

From Ray Reardon to Ronnie O' Sullivan, Cliff Thorborn to Alex Higgins, the game of snooker has always produced its share of characters in a sport seemingly stigmatised for its lack of them. This DVD takes a detailed look at the history of the green baize and re-collects some of the most memorable moments from the sport. Who could forget Dennis Taylor's black ball decider against the 'nugget', the pain of Jimmy White at the World Championships and his almost pre-determined destiny always to be the bridesmaid, and of course the most enigmatic of the all: The Hurricane.

  • History of Snooker DVD

I decided to buy this DVD because I am a keen snooker and billiards fan - not just of the modern day game but of players past and present. The content of the DVD is super, showing some very rare footage of players like Joe Davis and Walter Lindrum that I have certainly never seen before on TV. Picture quality is very good, however, the sound is fairly poor and needs to be turned to almost full volume to get something which is clearly audible. Despite this it is well worth having.
