A vintage early 1940’s edition of Billiards & Snooker by B. Scriven.
The book is not dated but in the later 1956 edition, the advert for the U.P.L Beetlegame (towards the back of the book) states that “over 6,300,000 sold”, where as in this earlier edition, it’s just “over 3,300,000 sold”.
It’s in extremely good condition having been stored flat and out of direct sunlight. This is a pocket-sized, soft cover book with fifteen chapters and is complete with all 90 pages plus adverts.
The spine is tight and the pages (printed on pink paper) are clean and crisp. The book measures approximately 6.5 inches x 4 inches.
A great piece of Snooker & Billiards sports memorabilia for all fans!
