Bagatelle Victorian / Bar Billiard Slate bed. Condition is “Used”. Very rare slate bed 10′ Victorian bagatelle table with original table frame which consists of mahogany turned legs and includes all bolts to put it together. This game is the fore runner to bar billiards and is played from one end, so can be put in a corner down one wall. The size is 10′ long (305 cm) The width being one third of the length of the table.
The height of the table is between 2′ 9 1/2 to 2′ 101/2 inches. The table also has two side pockets which are used in certain games. It comes with the full rule sheet 22″ x 12″ which has rules for the following games: The cannon game, The non Pareil cannon game, The Irish cannon game, Mississippi, Trou Madame, La Bagatelle, The French game, and Sans Egal. I estimate the table to be 100 to 120 years old. This would be a very satisfying project and is a piece of billiards history. The table has a cracked slate which is repairable and is 12mm/15mm thick the same as bar billiard slates. The table is is collection ONLY from RG7. I can if required supply cloth, balls, cues and anything else that may be required but these will NOT be included in the attained auction finishing price. . .
