This is a Vintage Tobacco Tin which has been altered to the lid with a Snooker or Pool themed Diorama and with Matchsticks to all sides, lid & base.I would assume that this was made as a gift for a Tobacco smoking Billiard or Pool Player!I believe that it dates somewhere between 1930 and 1950 and it measures approximately 11.5 x 8.5 x 3.5 cm.It Tin weighs around 137 grams.The perspex to the lid shows some signs of wear-it may have been near a source of heat and now has a distressed appearance.The Matchsticks have been heavily varnished which gives them a lovely warm colour and they are in very good order.Any signs of wear are commensurate with age and use.
