Utilising larger pool balls at 2 `1/4″ American tables have either 1 slate or up to 3 slate bed sections – most slates invariably being thicker that UK small ball tables .Each larger table has its’ own unique construction regards frame, surrounds, cushion fixings and cushion rubber This sequence of pictures closely captures the work we do regards transforming tables back to league playing standards The Sam American table was bought from an online auction by a client and he was shocked that it was in such a state of disrepairAfter contacting us we promptly met him at his home and advised on the steps needed to make the table playable againThe cushions rubbers were hard and cracking due to drying out so we took them away , re rubbered them in American table profiled rubber and recovered in yellow napped cloth On returning to his house we completed the recover of his slate . The table was now of the highest standard for playing on and was of the standard to be acceptable to all levels of professional & amateur players who demand the best league standard playing surface If you wish to transform your slate bed table why trust anyone else ??
