For sale I have a signed / autographed original programme from The Park Drive World Professional Snooker Championship of 1974. The tournament took place at Belle Vue, Manchester in April 1974 with the final between Ray Reardon and Graham Miles. The 43 frame match ended with victory and the World Title for Reardon by 22-12. The programme has been signed/autographed by seven individuals as follows:-1) Joe Davis – Undefeated 15 Times World Snooker Champion 1927-1946.2) WJ (Bill) Timms – Snooker Referee (including World Finals).3) Rex Williams – 7 Times World Billiards Champion 1968-1983 & World Snooker Finalist 1964 & 1965.4) John Pulman – World Snooker Champion 1957, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967 & 1968.5) Graham Miles – World Snooker Finalist 1974.6) Ray Edmonds – World Billiards Champion 1985.7) John Spencer – World Snooker Champion 1969, 1971 & 1977.I attended the final match between Ray Reardon and Graham Miles as a then 13 year old boy, along with my older brother and uncle and I obtained all the signatures personally during the interval. The first signature I obtained was from Joe Davis who was sitting on the front row close to the match table and was very happy to give me his autograph as were all the others.The programme is fully intact with rust free staples and in overall good clean condition. There is edge wear to the front cover, particularly along the spine area and small corner creases. Inside, the pages are clean and bright with the odd minor mark. The centre page scorecard has been completed neatly in pen (by myself), but other than that and the signatures, there is no other writing. The signatures to the front cover are legible, although the one by Graham Miles was done with a felt tip and has smudged, but is still readable.Please see photographs which help to form part of the description.UK buyers only please.
