I wrote to all Thursday League teams last week asking for any volunteers to move to a Tuesday, explaining the current situation. The only responses I have had are from Gary Bennett and Daryl (see above). Gary says that Roath Labour wouldn't be able to move to Tuesdays but would have no problem in the Tuesday teams playing on a Thursday.

Likewise we have no problem with the odd Tuesday game (County) but would rather play on Thursday's

Chatting to Rhys and Jon on Tuesday and it seems that Trec will more than likely have a Tuesday side. If Cathays Cons can join the Tuesday then looks like we may as well stay as is, especially if Barry Dock could join.

Barry Dock will not join on a Tuesday, but with Cathays Cons added, we have a line-up of eight teams for next season. I'm perfectly happy to run that league, with teams I know well, and a cup competition alongside it as this year.

Dont bank on treccy having a side for deffo next season. This season was a shambles so unless we can get a couple of players who want to play then i dont think we will have a team!
Is the league moving to a thursday next year or staying on a tuesday?

what are you doing posting?!! Not enjoying the sun in Magaluf?!

But he does have a point. There is no way in fricking hell am I being captain next season after whats happened this year. And wicksy wont do it because he's our wednesday skipper. So unless someone steps up and brings in AT LEAST 2 new players (not just thursday kids to up the numbers) then theres a decent chance that Trec wont be involved next year.

John was being optimistic I think and he wants to keep it going without having the responsibility of doing it himself. I know he and Bill attend welsh meetings once a month on tuesdays, but that means we need players and a willing captain even more!

staying on a tuesday it is by the looks of it. even with only 7 sides, but we can discuss it at the AGM. however someone needs to step up at the AGM to run the Thursdayers or there will be no Thursday leagues/s.
