Yeh I prefer Thursday as well, the small league we've got this year is getting a bit boring so it just makes sense for everyone to play on a Thursday

Of course Potters Bar might feel miffed after they have won about 10 in a row and expect to get 'promoted' from Division Two......

They could still be promoted. My view is that Chewie and I would compare notes, having decided how many teams would be in the top division, and simply draw up a list of who we believe to be the most suitable teams.

It might be that Potters Bar are considered higher than a team in mid Thursday Premier Division in the ChewSec Ratings.

The rules of the Thursday league are that the top 2 teams are promoted from division 2. This has to stand and they should be in a Thursday Division 1.

How can we put a team like Barry Dock straight in to Div 1 ahead of them.

It's not fair.

Yeah, The overal list of Thursday teams at the end of this year to be carried forward should take into account that the top 2 in Division 2 leapfrog the bottom 2 in Division 1 by means of promotion and relegation. In theory they may end up in the same division, but the lines won't be drawn at the end of this season.

What happens after that depends purely on the number of teams overall that enter next year's league.
